Thursday, February 3rd, 2022In honor of Black History Month, Utica Academy of Science Junior-Senior High School created an interactive exhibit for students to learn about influential African American citizens. In this exhibit, students will learn about leaders such as Langston Hughes, Thurgood Marshall, George Washington Carver, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Mae Jemison, Rosa Parks, and more. In addition, students will have an opportunity to share their dreams for the future by writing them on the door of room 184. We invite all our students to come and explore this exhibit now through March to celebrate Black History Month. A special thank you to Mrs. G for all her hard work in creating this exhibit in honor of Black History Month.
