A Glowing Good Time with the Crazy 8’s Math Club

Monday, February 7th, 2022—The Utica Academy of Science elementary school's Crazy 8's Math Club enjoyed their first-ever meeting, where students learned about 2D geometrical shapes and repeating patterns using glow sticks. During their meeting, Atoms worked together to create geometrical designs of repeating shapes and put their problem-solving skills to the test to determine how to create new geometrical shapes by removing one glow stick.
