Empowering Futures: Mohawk Valley Junior Frontiers Program Information Night

Utica Academy of Science Junior-Senior High School Holds Junior Frontiers Info Night

Thursday, March 7th, 2024: Utica Academy of Science families joined us for the Mohawk Valley Junior Frontiers Program Information Night.

The Mohawk Valley Junior Frontiers Club was organized to create a structured program for developing leadership, scholarship, citizenship, and community service skills in a group of selected young people. The program seeks to enhance the potential of young people by exposing them to a series of experiences designed to strengthen them as individuals, introduce them to different facets of the community, and stimulate their interest in becoming future leaders.

Established in 1996, Junior Frontiers is the largest all-voluntary civic youth organization predominantly for students of color based in Central New York.

We had an inspiring evening sharing insights about how the nonprofit organization is dedicated to empowering students in the community. From academic excellence to professional development, civic responsibility, and self-esteem, Junior Frontiers is all about shaping bright futures!

If your child is in 4th-12th grade and would like to become part of the Junior Frontiers club, they are encouraged to fill out an application on their website.
