Sunday, May 31st, 2026: Utica Academy of Science Junior-Senior High School students soared to new heights at the CNY Rocket Challenge! We are incredibly proud of our four middle school teams and three high school teams for representing our school.

Throughout the competition, students applied their STEM knowledge by designing, building, and launching rockets while demonstrating outstanding teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills. The challenge provided scholars with a unique opportunity to experience the real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in an engaging and hands-on environment.

In addition to showcasing their technical abilities, students displayed perseverance, collaboration, and innovation as they worked together to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Experiences like the CNY Rocket Challenge inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators while helping students develop valuable skills that will serve them well in the future.
