Monday, March 9th, 2026: Utica Academy of Science Elementary School held the Kids Heart Challenge kickoff. During the assembly, Ms. Laurie shared how students can make a difference by supporting the American Heart Association and learning about heart health.

We also celebrated one of our amazing 5th graders, Ilhana, who has already raised $202 for the cause! Ms. Laurie recognized her during the assembly and presented some of the special gifts she earned through her fundraising efforts. We are so proud of her leadership and generosity!

The Kids Heart Challenge is a fun way for students to learn about healthy habits while raising funds to support lifesaving research and programs.
