Tuesday, September 17, 2019—Pump, pump, pump it up! Pump that Atom spirit up. Elementary Atoms show off their school spirit as they celebrate Utica Academy of Science High School's first-ever Homecoming. Students partook in spirit week with various dress up days that were wacky, clever, and creative.

Saturday, September 21, 2019—Homecoming Weekend was in full swing as the middle school teachers, faculty and staff geared up for their Welcome Back BBQ. An afternoon filled with families meeting their students' teachers, and students having an opportunity to sign up for school clubs and activities. The Atoms team shared a labor of love and acts of service by not only preparing the lunches but serving them as well to the families and the community members. Wednesday, September 11, 2019—Reading is a novel idea and our Elementary Atoms shared their love for books, literature and even Legos with their family at our annual Literacy Night. Literacy-based activities were held in the classroom for families to enjoy. In addition, Utica Academy of Science Elementary School hosted a Scholastic Book Fair, where students perused timeless stories and books like If you Give a Mouse a Brownie. Not to mention, Atoms had an opportunity to sign up for our first-ever Lego League, Jr. team. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend. Friday, September 20, 2019—Ready. Set. GOAL! Homecoming will be taking place next week on Friday, September 20^th. The first homecoming game will kick-off with Girls Varsity Soccer at 6:30 PM followed by Boys Varsity Soccer at 8:00 PM. Both games will be held at HCCC. In addition, each building will be showcasing and celebrating their Atoms spirit. Please see details below. Let's go Atoms!

Wednesday, September 11, 2019—Join the Elementary Atoms as they host their annual Literacy Night and Scholastic Book Fair on Wednesday, September 11^th. Families will be able to enjoy an evening filled with literacy legends and of course the school communities as we develop and inspire a passion for reading. Tuesday, August 20, 2019—With the school year starting in just a little over a week, we welcomed our new Atoms to the Utica Academy of Science Middle School Family at the New Parent Orientation. Families learned about the goals for the upcoming school year, school policies, and procedures. They even were able to have hands-on-training with SchoolTool. In addition, families were able to discover how we continue to build success one Atom at a time through rigorous curriculum, fostering a safe environment that supports students needs. We look forward to seeing all of our Atoms on Thursday, September 5th for the First Day of School.

Wednesday, June 26, 2019—Oh the places you go! We look back on a highlight for our Kindergarten Atoms, their Moving Up Ceremony. Students, families, faculty and staff all gathered to witness this momentous occasion as they watched their Atom walk across the stage for the first time with a 'diploma' in hand. Congratulations Atoms, we wish you nothing but the best in the first grade and for many years to come.

Friday, June 28, 2019—Faculty, family and friends join together to witness a once in a lifetime celebration for the Class of 2019, graduation. This academic milestone was held at Mohawk Valley Community College, with guest speaker none other than Congressman Anthony Brindisi. A moment filled with laughter, tears and cheers, we congratulate these Atoms and wish them great success in their future endeavors. Once an Atom, always an Atom. Friday, June 7, 2019—A beautiful sunny day filled with laughter, excitement, cheers, games and activities for the elementary school Atom's first ever Field Day event. Students partook in an epic game of Tug o' War, competed in various relay races, tested their tossing ability with corn hole, and much more! Students won medals and trophies if they exemplified team behavior, and good sportsmanship behavior. Great job Atoms!

Friday, June 28, 2019—Congratulations to the Utica Academy of Science Class of 2019 on your graduation. In their Senior Video, the graduates take a moment to look back on their high school experience, reflect on where they are heading, and thank all those who helped them along the way. Way to go, Atoms!
