Tuesday, June 13th, 2023: On this beautiful evening, the Utica Academy of Science Elementary School band performed “A Concert Under the Stars.” Under the direction of their talented conductor, Ms. Parr, the musicians performed four foot-tapping rhythms that showcased their progress since the beginning of the year.
During one song, several of our teachers joined forces with their instruments, thanks to the diligent coaching from our remarkable students and Ms. Parr! To finish the evening, a local magician performed his bag of tricks for the enthralled crowd. It was truly a magical evening under the beautiful sky where dreams became a reality, and music became the language that united our school community!
Tuesday, May 30th, 2023: As a college prep school, we like to introduce our young Atoms to all the opportunities that can come with a degree in higher education. On Tuesday, May 30th, Utica Academy of Science Elementary School celebrated Career Day. Community members from twelve employers came to share their knowledge and expertise with our scholars. It’s never too early for Atoms to start thinking about their future careers. We hope our students felt inspired!
“Success doesn’t rush. The greatest reward is the journey-” Oscar Wilde.
The Utica Academy of Science Class of 2023 is already successful. These students have completed 13 years of school filled with hard work and late nights. They have successfully participated in sports, music, and extracurricular activities. Some students even ventured outside their comfort zones to take college-level courses for credits. Other scholars devoted themselves to our cybersecurity classes, and even received certifications after passing the exam. Students achieved all this while developing friendships and making memories that will last a lifetime.
We made this senior video so our Atoms can have a memento for years. We hope you reflect on your time at #UASCS and remember the good times. We hope you remember your journey from the second you stepped into your first Utica Academy of Science classroom to your graduation walk from the cafeteria to the gym. We wish you all the best and more success than you can measure.
Congratulations to the #Classof2023!
